CLEVELAND, Ohio — Thanks to 39 points from Donovan Mitchell, the Cavaliers completed the biggest Game 7 comeback in NBA history to eliminate the Orlando Magic, 106-94, on Sunday.
The Cavs trailed by as much as 18 points before taking the lead for good late in the thཧird quarter.
Mitchell had 17 of his 39 points in the third quarter and personally outscored the Magic by two points in that quarter. Cari🍰s LeVert ha🔥d a big game off the bench with 15 points, and Evan Mobley added 11 points, 16 rebounds and five blocks.
Mitchell had 50 points in Gam🤪e 6 on Friday night, but he and the Ca💜vs did not close out Orlando, leading to Sunday’s Game 7.
With the win, the Cavs now advance to the second round star🍃ting on Tuesday night vs. the Boston Celtics. It’s the fran⛄chise’s first series win without LeBron James since 1993.
